Sharing some cultural insights to a group of children in celebration of Black History Month 2020. This was a lead-in before I brought up a bunch of the children and taught them some basic drumming.
After introducing the elementary school children to some African culture, I brought up 20 volunteers on-stage to learn some basic Djembe drumming. They did great - first time drumming!
We played drums to welcome guests to a Diversity event. Here's a brief snippet. I'm the one on the dundun.
